FATA is developing a program, Beyond the Runway – Why General Aviation Means Business.  The target audience for the program that will be held at the FATA  Annual Conference is the non-aviation business community. Ray Anderson is a licensed attorney whose law practice is focused on corporate banking, finance and securities and corporate and commercial transactions unique to the aviation and aerospace industries. Ray has over fifteen years of experience in corporate and government leadership positions as an executive aviation official and aviation financial consultant at some of the nation's busiest general aviation and commercial service airports.

Ray has structured and negotiated numerous complex corporate and commercial transactions, including large public institutional financings, major state and federal funded construction projects, large public-private partnership developments, brownfield redevelopment, and multi-party negotiated acquisition, use and lease agreements.

Ray also has substantial experience structuring and negotiating transactions with passenger airlines, cargo carriers, charter and taxi operators, logistic providers, aerospace manufacturers, military and defense suppliers, general aviation and commercial airport operators, airport concessionaires, aircraft owners, flight departments, fixed base operators, maintenance and repair stations, and with multiple state and federal government agencies
